We work with voice and rhythm using games and fun exercises. We discover new vocal possibilities, learn about the connections between voice, body and breathing. We play with words, stanzas and canons. We improvise and give sound to images and stories. Instead of singing along to notes, we encourage musical memory. We learn the words and the melody by listening repeatedly and working in parts. It is not a drill, but joy and fun.
In the 2024/25 school year, this choir for children from grades 4-8 opens only at Mistra Jan Waldorf Primary School.
